About the Author

Luanna McGuire is a critical care nurse, accidental writer, and a lifelong seeker of adventure. She’s spent years working in hospitals across the country, collecting stories, bruises, and the occasional laugh at the wrong moment. Somewhere between long shifts, airport terminals, and scribbled journal pages, she learned that sometimes the only way to survive is to find the humor in it all.

When she’s not in scrubs, she’s visiting family and friends, soaking up every second with her granddaughter, or plotting her next adventure…which may be another book! Her writing comes from the messy middle of life’s bumpy roads; where healing and laughter often show up at the same time and where bravery doesn’t always look the way one expects.
